For starters, I really don't like AI. I can feel it chipping away at the enamel of my artistic process. That being said, I desperately want to find a fulfilling way to incorporate it without sacrificing who I am. Using a real dancer and imposing them into a new format is exciting and doesn't lose the human aspect (in my opinion). Still exploring storytelling with AI and how it can enhance an experience. Two more examples or experimentation below.

Sprinkles and color! Added shading and color as well. REALLY looking forward to some dynamic lighting effects. Seeing that the render function is where things get magical.

Added sprinkles and did the first render! It's over exposed and vaguely menacing but it's mine.

Fixed the render lighting issue by using the native light and made a plate. Next tutorial is lighting... so yeah, that's gonna be the coolest part yet.

Integrated dramatic and controlled lighting and added plants/a jar to the background for depth. Also worked with a box to with a cutout to control the amount of sunshine coming in.

First animation render! This took 14 hours. Need to figure out the balance of quality and speed in rendering.

Second full render and it looks not bad! Celebrating the wins. Only one more video to go before donut completion. Big takeaway is the lighting and reflectivity are still not right. It might have something to do with my monitor... We carry on.
